Introduction #

In this doc you’ll learn more about ProRedLine’s payments and billing. After reading this doc, you will know more about the supported payment types, AUTOPAY, and more.

Supported Payment Methods #

ProRedLine supports several payment methods for orders and subscriptions. The exact payment methods shown at checkout depend on the billing address and country entered during the checkout process. This means customers will automatically see the payment options that are available for their region before completing payment.

Available Payment Methods #

The following payment methods are currently supported:

  • Credit and debit cards
    Available across all European countries.
  • Klarna
Available across all European countries. This payment may be deprecated in the near future.
  • Apple Pay
    Available across all European countries.
  • Google Pay
    Available across all European countries.
  • Bancontact
    Belgium
  • EPS
    Austria
  • iDEAL | WERO
    Netherlands
  • Przelewy24
    Poland
  • Multibanco
    Portugal

Availability may vary depending on the customer’s country, device, browser, and the payment options supported by the payment provider at the time of checkout.

Our Payment Provider #

All payments at ProRedLine are processed securely through Stripe using the WooPayments integration. Stripe is the underlying payment provider that handles transactions such as card payments and other supported checkout methods, while WooPayments connects Stripe to the ProRedLine platform and checkout environment.

For subscription services, ProRedLine also uses custom software to handle the timing and flow of renewal-related payment actions. This means Stripe and WooPayments process the payment itself, while ProRedLine’s own billing logic helps manage when subscription renewal actions are initiated.

Bank Transfer Payments #

At this time, ProRedLine does not accept bank transfers as a payment method. Payments currently need to be completed using one of the supported checkout methods shown during the ordering process.

Bank transfer support may be added in the future, but it is not available at the moment. The main reason is that bank transfers usually take longer to process and confirm, which makes them less suitable for a streamlined and timely billing workflow.

AUTOPAY and Saved Card Payments #

At ProRedLine, AUTOPAY is the name of our custom billing logic for eligible subscription renewals. At this time, credit and debit cards are the only payment method that support AUTOPAY, including card payments made through supported express checkout options where a card is saved for future use.

How AUTOPAY Works #

AUTOPAY is designed to charge a saved card for upcoming renewal payments. This means customers do not need to manually pay every renewal by hand, as long as a valid saved card is available on the account and the charge can be processed successfully.

In practice, the payment itself is still processed through our payment provider, while AUTOPAY controls the renewal timing and renewal payment flow within the ProRedLine platform.

How AUTOPAY Is Enabled #

AUTOPAY becomes available when a customer saves an eligible credit or debit card to their account. This can usually happen in one of two ways.

The first option is during checkout. When paying by card, customers may see the option to save the payment method to their account. If that saved card is successfully linked to the account, it can be used for eligible future renewal charges.

The second option is by adding a card directly to the ProRedLine account through the saved payment methods area. This allows customers to add, replace, or remove stored cards separately from a new order.

Important Note #

Although AUTOPAY can make renewals more convenient, customers should only save a card if they want future eligible renewal charges to be processed through that saved payment method. Customers who prefer full manual control over each renewal payment should avoid enabling saved card payments unless they specifically want that functionality.
