WordPress is fully supported on ProRedLine Web Hosting and Site Hosting, but it is never installed automatically.
You decide if and when WordPress is installed.
ProRedLine provides the platform and tools. Website creation and management remain your responsibility.
WordPress Availability #
On ProRedLine hosting:
- WP Toolkit is always available in cPanel
- WordPress can be installed at any time
- No WordPress site is created by default
- No demo content is preloaded
Your hosting account starts empty unless you install something yourself.
Installing WordPress #
WordPress is installed using WP Toolkit in cPanel.
Important points:
- Installation is manual
- Installation location is chosen by you
- WordPress is only created when you click Install
This prevents unwanted files or websites.
Default WordPress Setup at ProRedLine #
When you install WordPress via WP Toolkit:
- A clean WordPress installation is created
- The latest supported WordPress version is used
- A unique database and database user are created
- A custom ProRedLine helper plugin is included
No additional plugins or themes are forced.
WP Toolkit as the Control Layer #
WP Toolkit allows you to:
- Install and remove WordPress
- Manage updates
- Enable security features
- Clone or stage sites
- Access the admin dashboard
- Monitor site health
It acts as a management layer, not an automation system.
What ProRedLine Does Not Do #
ProRedLine does not:
- Install WordPress automatically
- Build or design WordPress websites
- Configure plugins or themes
- Maintain WordPress content
- Debug WordPress code or plugins
WordPress management is customer-controlled.
Updates and Maintenance #
You control:
- When WordPress is installed
- When updates are applied
- Which plugins or themes are used
WP Toolkit provides tools, not forced actions.
Resource Usage #
WordPress websites:
- Use PHP and database resources
- Share hosting resources with other sites on the account
- Can affect performance if poorly optimized
Performance tuning is your responsibility.
When WordPress May Not Be Suitable #
WordPress may not be ideal if:
- You only need a simple static page
- You do not want to manage updates
- You require a custom application stack
In these cases, static hosting may be simpler.
Responsibility Summary #
You are responsible for:
- Installing WordPress if needed
- Managing updates and plugins
- Securing the WordPress site
- Maintaining backups
ProRedLine provides the environment and tooling only.
