Why do we use a reactivation fee? #
Our prepaid store model ensures no unwanted payment charges and renewals are processed. It’s the customers’ responsibility to renew their subscription by making a payment before the upcoming due date. When this does not happen on time, we choose to suspend subscriptions instead of cancelling them immediately. We do this, so customers won’t lose any data or services if they still wish to renew 7 days after the due date (7-day grace period).
Because we reserve resources (disk-space) for your services and data while the subscription is suspended, we charge a reactivation fee of €5,-. This fee is also required as reactivating a subscription needs manual action taken by ProRedLine staff.
This will also encourage customers to make the payment before the due date of the current (paid) billing cycle. Of course, it is also possible to not pay within the 7-day grace period (which cancels your subscription) and ordering a new subscription. This does mean all customized/changed data will be lost as each new subscription will have its default installation/data.
