Once your account has been closed, we anonymize/delete your personal data. There are some cases in which we are legally required or allowed to keep some personal data.
Cases in which we (partially) keep your information #
- There’s still an active subscription on the account
- Personal data kept: All data until subscription is cancelled and there are no outstanding payments.
- Why we keep this: As long as there’s an active subscription or any outstanding payments, this information is used to link any active subscriptions and payments to your account.
- Personal data kept: All data until subscription is cancelled and there are no outstanding payments.
- In violation of our Terms of Service / abuse, burden of proof which results in suspended accounts
- Personal data kept: E-mail, IP, logs, communication and account status
- Why we keep this: To prevent repeated abuse or fraud. ProRedLine is legally allowed to keep this information if this is the case after a personal data erasure request.
- Personal data kept: E-mail, IP, logs, communication and account status
- Tax compliance: retention of data for statutory invoicing requirements
- Personal data kept: Name, Email, IP, transaction ID’s and other payment information, invoices.
- Why we keep this: We are required by law to keep this information for 7 years for tax purposes. After 7 years, this information is no longer required and will be removed from our systems.
- Personal data kept: Name, Email, IP, transaction ID’s and other payment information, invoices.
In all of these cases, your information is kept secure on a different storage location.
If none of these cases apply to you, all your personal data is anonymized or deleted. This includes addresses, email, name, etcetera.
