BeamMP is a multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive. Therefore, to join and play on your BeamMP server (or any other), you must install their mod and install it first. We’ve got the following information from the BeamMP website here. If you encounter any issues after following the guide in this doc, we recommend trying again with the official client installation documentation.
- Visit the beammp.com website and install the client software by clicking on ‘Download Client’.
- Once downloaded, extract the ZIP to any destination you prefer.
- Within the extracted folder, open ‘BeamMP_Installer.exe’ and follow the instructions.
- The BeamMP Launcher icon will now appear on your desktop. Otherwise, start the launcher located in the folder you extracted from the zipped file.
- After launching, a command prompt will appear. This command prompt connects your game to BeamMP. Therefore do not close this command prompt to play with BeamMP.
- To view the server list, click on the ‘More…’ option within the home screen of BeamNG.drive and click ‘Multiplayer’.
- The first time (or anytime the command prompt gets closed) you will be prompted to login. This requires registering an account with BeamMP. It’s possible to play as guest on other servers, however this is not allowed on all servers. For your ProRedLine BeamMP server, this is something you can decide yourself within the server settings.
- Once logged in (or as guest), you will be shown the server list. You can now join any public server you like, including your ProRedLine server! Your own server can be found in the server list with the same name used in the Startup variables under ‘SERVER NAME’. Name changes usually get published to the server list within 2 minutes on BeamMP.
- Have fun!
